Bulletin 22 March 16

President Ian welcomed tonight’s guests: Lux Fonseka, Jim Shepherd, Mel Cook, Tracey Rees, Noel King and President Elect Dennis Eales from Inglewood Rotary Club. Also present were Margaret Hodges, Pat O’Connor and Clare Smiley.

Michael Archer reported that New Plymouth Club is inviting fellow Rotarians to join them for a Progressive Dinner to be held on Saturday 2nd April 2016. Bus leaves car park opposite St Josephs Church at 5pm with 4 mystery locations and 4 superb courses (BYO) only $50 per person. Please contact Michael by 28th inst if you would like to attend.

After our meal the evening entertainment kicked off with our Annual Bowls match. Four teams of 4 took part with a tight finish on the last bowl of 6 to 5 for one match and the other involving our Inglewood guests has been judged an uneven draw with a 12 to nil score! Well done to all who took part in the fun and thanks in particular to Inglewood for making the night complete.
